Good pizza, a lot of ingredients as ordered. No skimping here....thick crust though....would have been perfect if offering thin crust.

What an absolute disaster this place was. . . A couple of Friday nights ago, the bf and I decided that a night of gorging on greasy pizza deliciousness was in order. After ordering and waiting the allotted 20 minute period, I drove over to Boston House of Pizza to collect my food. I pulled into the parking lot to find it very small and difficult to maneuver especially with it being close to a very busy intersection on Route 44. It was from this point that I began understand why it is there were only 2 people inside the actual restaurant and why everybody calling orders in during my time there were asking for delivery. Upon entering, I walked up to the counter and became quite enveloped in the boisterous scene that was unfolding around me. Phones ringing off the hook, employees were answering calls continuously searching for a clear space to write down orders. Calculators and handsets along with whatever else was sitting on the counter was thrown aside with force as anger and frustration grew. The "F" word carelessly and vehemently thrown around between each other and at nothing in general. Employees yelling at each other to pick up the slack. Workers rushing back and forth, dangerously slipping and sliding on a puddle of marinara sauce inadvertently dropped on the floor. Several minutes into my time standing at the front counter, witnessing this disaster, someone made eye contact with me for the first time. I stated my name and my order and they walked away to find it. Several more minutes crawled by before I was approached by another individual again asking for my name. Once again, I waited. . . and waited. . . and waited. Confused employees directed juvenile drivers to deliver orders as pizza boxes were shuffled and re-shuffled, sweat removed from brows by exhausted arms, and sighs of frustration exhaled in response to tension among the staff. Finally. . . my food was packaged and handed over, transaction handled, and I was on my way. . . . 25 MINUTES after having first entered. No apology, no thank you for my business, more looks of relief that I was finally exiting their establishment. For food that was suppose to be ready at a certain time as indicated over the phone, I was quite annoyed. Upon sitting down at home to appease my then ravenous hunger, I was more than disappointed to find that one of the pizzas had the wrong topping entirely. Pepperoni instead of bacon. To top it all off, the pizza itself was merely mediocre. Nothing that special about the product itself. Average price, average taste, combined with awful service makes it highly unlikely for me to ever return to this establishment. And under the rare circumstance that I do, I will certainly NOT be picking it up myself. No wonder so many people were ordering delivery. At least then you are removed from the contempt the employees feel for their stressful and demanding Friday night schedule. In an area with several pizza joints to choose from, this establishment should rethink their customer service in order to maintain business.

Love the linguica pizza. Greasy but delicious! What you want/expect from a small local pizza joint done right. Good priced and they deliver.

BEST PIZZA IN EAST PROVIDENCE" 5 of 5 starsReviewed December 2, 2014 Just a little place. We always get take out or delivery since the place itself is a little stark. Any kind of pizza plus calzones, grinders, fish and chips and soups. Any time we don't feel like cooking Boston House is first on our list.

The parking is absolutely horrendous which is why I gave them 2 stars. The food is okay though, they make a great calzones and their pizza is okay. They are very pricey when it comes to their deserts!

Personally I do not care for this place. Crust tastes like burnt bread. Sauce has to Ragu spaghetti sauce. If your at a hotel be prepared to go down and get your pizza. Don't bother ordering anything to drink. They will forget it.

This is my go-to place for pizza and salad, period (yes, PERIOD). They do have a small parking lot but geesh, just park at the tire store next door if you need to and enjoy the 30 second walk. They like to load their pizzas with cheese and toppings, their salads are nice and fresh, and if you get their large calzone get ready to OD on grease and dough...and I'm saying that in a good way. I've never had a bad experience (I've ordered from here easily more than 25 times) and I've always encountered friendly employees. I've tried other pizza places in the immediate area and I still haven't yet found one that beats BHOP.

Food here is absolutely amazing ! Love the pizza here. The thick crust always sells it for me. The rest of the food here is pretty good as well. Worth the extra bucks.

Boston House has some really good thicker crust pizza. That said, be forewarned it is a few bucks pricier than your average pizza place. As another reviewer described: The crust is thicker, and if they don't put just enough sauce on, it can be dry. I never order Boston House pizza plain - always with toppings - to go with the thick crust. I'd also like to comment on the business owners themselves... I work for a non profit and they are always very generous in donating pizza to our event. Pro: Good thick crust pizza, good business Con: Small parking lot for pick up, more expensive

Living in East Providence for the past year, this has been our go-to take out place! Their pizza is really good, better than all of the other places we've tried in the area. HIGHLY recommend the barbecue chicken in either pizza or calzone form! The italian sub is also good. The guys here are always quick and pleasant. Definitely recommend.

Boston House of Pizza has great tasting calzones and I highly recommend the linguica calzone. For about $14 you can order a large calzone that feeds two-to-three people. While the prices are a bit more expensive than your typical pizza shop some of their items (such as calzones) are worth the hefty price tag.

Not very good. I have given this place several tries as it is close to me and they deliver. The pizza is a little thick, not Caserta thick but thicker then your typical pizza. They use very little sauce, I mean almost non-existent. This would be ok on thin crust pizza but not on a thicker crust. This leads to the pizza being very dry, not a good combination. Sandwiches are bland and nothing special. Wings are your typical frozen ones. The only thing worth ordering are their salads which are large and they have a large selection.

Best pizza I could find in East Providence. Really like their thick crust and spicy pepperoni. The guys in the shop are really friendly, tip them well!

Getting in and out can be a pain, especially making a left turn out of the 1/2 doz space lot, and the place has zero ambience, but I've yet to find better pizza here or anywhere else. I've tried lots of places but keep coming back to BHOP. My usual is a small pepperoni and onion. The sauce and crust is what makes this pie though. The sauce is plentiful and very flavorful, the crust thickness somewhere between New York thin and Chicago deep dish, which is typical of a Greek owned HOP. Overall the pies are somewhat greasy but without that you don't have pizza. I have seen some variation in quality depending on who is behind the counter but the majority of the time the "right" people are there. In RI there is only one equal, but if you go to this unnamed North Providence establishment you will wait, then wait some more. BHOP gets 5 stars and ranks as a "Mac's Place to Be".

This was my first time ordering from here and will be my last... I consider myself to be an extreme wing lover, and when the menu stated "famous wings" I was intrigued. These were by far the worst wings I've had in a while. They were breaded, first of all, which makes them soggy and the sauce also absorbs I to them which just makes them un-edible. The spicy teriyaki had little to no spice or even flavor. The buffalo was basic, no real attribute that in my eyes would make them famous maybe famously awful but that's it. The pizza, Backyard BBQ, sounded awesome so I ordered that. It came, smelled good but once I opened the box all I saw was an undercooked, soggy pizza. I could barely even pick a slice up without it all sliding off the "crust"! The toppings were flavorless, too much cheese and WAY too much BBQ sauce to drown out any sort of flavor. I can't say anything about the other reviewers but my experience does not encourage me to give them another shot. Ill stick with Carmella's expensive but awesome food and even Famous Pizza cause their pizza is actually pretty darn good.

The pizza is outstanding......the owners are nice and work hard.......and the handi-capped man called David provides great service and nothing fake......The tables and chairs are vintage....i would say, they come from the 70's........ I like the Portuguese Linguica Sausage Sandwich alot......they put red sauce on it......and the Italian meatball sandwich and the Italian Spaghetti and Italian veal sandwich........other items are good quality..... This place is not a chain restaurant....thats a big plus......In summary, for a quick bite......this is a nice place......... Also, Boston House of Pizza accepts Paypal single use secure cards........
